This journal is directed toward the members of the xat chat group, Spriterverse. In particular, this journal is for the chat's RP'ers. Or even more particular, ones that are familiar with my RPs. For those who do not qualify for any of these, you'll probably want to ignore this and move on with your life.

The episode begins aboard the great maiden ship, the Laniard, on its flight to Draako Citadel. The spriters, Acheron Nefarious Wyndrunner, Makashu Madaki, Flare Sentripio, and Iron Kuzoniki, eagerly wait with the company of the renown hero, Rexin. The group converses over this period, reflecting on times past. Rexin commends the spriters for their actions in protecting Elderis from the Dark Alliance and Valkyre. When mentioning the latter, Rexin becomes uncomfortable, showing especial grievances towards the dragon pokemon afflicted by Valkyre. The spriters reassure him that a well future awaits as Valkyre was long gone thanks to their combined powers.
The Laniard finally docks at the wooden ports of Draako Citadel and the group steps off. Immediately, they notice how the floating island has changed - polished stone walls, luxurious pavement, and a wondrous atmosphere to boast. Rexin notes how the Citadel's residents are now racially diverse and active. Dragons and non-dragons alike participate in the hustle and bustle of commerce. Their walk through town ends in the plaza, where the anticipated ceremony is about to take place. The spriters take their seats and wait for it to begin.
Stepping on stage, a new figure appears. She likens herself to the Well of Suspension behind her, for she, like the well, keeps the isle afloat. She identifies herself as Lady Sefal, speaker of the ceremony and head administrator of Draako Citadel. Sefal begins the ceremony with another recognition of the spriters' feats. She then holds a moment of silence dedicated to the royal family of Draako Citadel and the tragedy involved. She describes in detail how King Herald and Queen Lania were both assassinated within a few weeks, and how their young daughter, Princess Arcania was left to rule as a result. She introduces Arcania to the crowd and explains that she is under Sefal's guidance for the time being. Sefal ends the ceremony with an ecstatic announcement of imported communications technology from the Techno Peninsula.
With the ceremony now over, Rexin encourages the spriters to explore the Citadel and opts to stay to investigate his 'suspicions.' The spriters reluctantly accept and choose to explore the east Citadel, where the barracks of the Scaled Garrison, Baast, is held. At Baast, they meet Harvey, the charming garrison chief, who provides them with information about Lady Sefal. He claims that Lady Sefal comes from unknown backgrounds and was married into the royal family. He also notes on her strict and stubborn personality, as can be seen by policies that she had administered.
At sunset, the spriters make their way to a plaza inn that Rexin had rented. At the inn, they find that Rexin was already asleep and they decide to rest also. This does not last long as Flare senses movement outside the inn. He wakes up the rest of the group, minus Rexin who appears to have been poisoned and is knocked out. Attempts to heal him are interrupted by a yelp outside. Upon investigation, they discover Princess Arcania who is cornered in the alleyways by two guards. Before they can take action, Lady Sefal arrives and shuns her for leaving the castle. The guards grab her by the arms and she is dragged back to the castle.
The spriters hesitate to intervene, but the discovery that the 'imported communications technology' also acts as a means of surveillance confirms their suspicions that Lady Sefal is up to something. They enter the castle through an open window and guards are seemingly oblivious to their presence as they roam the halls. They find a room containing Princess Arcania's aura and enter, only to be found in the middle of a trap. Castle guards surround them and Lady Sefal, sitting in the castle throne, harshly interrogates them. The spriters attempt to reason, but Sefal's arrogance results in a failure to make any progress.
Lady Sefal considers their words to be an attack on her rule as well as the Citadel and makes the first blow, causing a fight to break out. Sefal controls the guards' attacks with ease as she sits in her chair, awfully reminiscent of Valkyre's ability to control dragons. Eventually though, the spriters overpower her guards and rather than killing her, they sever her ability to control the guards. The guards fall apart and it is discovered that they were clay soldiers all along. The spriters reattempt to negotiate. But still held by her pride, Lady Sefal refuses to negotiate with them.
A droplet of blood falls from the castle ceiling, and suddenly Valkyre appears. She withdraws a dagger out of Sefal's chest and Sefal drops to the ground, dead. Her appearance causes hysteria as the spriters dutifully attempt to finish her off like they should have years ago. But Valkyre proves to have grown in power as well. Now wielding a tighter grasp on her blood magic capabilities, she ensnares the spriters in an impenetrable cage of blood. Valkyre taunts them, even going as far as to bring up Rexin out of nowhere to taunt. Makashu attempts to defend Rexin's honor, but Valkyre breaks into crazed laughter, stating that he had never even met him. In a horrific display, the spriters watch as Valkyre strides in front of them, her form shifting into 'Rexin' and back. She admits that Rexin died long ago, in the aftermath of his fight with Turbulence.
Speechless, Makashu looks down only to realize that his belt, a gift from Rexin, was in reality a gift from Valkyre. In a fury, he breaks through Valkyre's blood cage to do a barrage of attacks against her. But once again, Valkyre toys with him, warping away from every attack. His attacks are overbearingly strong and cause lots of unintended damage to the castle's architecture and himself. The other spriters notice that the belt is glowing and is the reason for Makashu's outburst. In order to prevent Makashu from potentially destroying himself, they fight him off. Meanwhile, Valkyre is caught off guard by the flaming roof and leaves the scene.
Eventually, the other spriters subdue and remove Makashu's belt. It disintegrates upon removal and Makashu is knocked out. The castle starts to crumble, and they watch chaos start to break out in the plaza. They can just barely make out the silhouette of Valkyre standing by the Well of Suspension. The crowd watches as she starts to absorb the well's century old magic into her palms. The well disappears in an instant and the entire island stumbles. The spriters try to escape, but are far too exhausted from the previous fights to move. And so, Draako Citadel and all of its inhabitants, including the spriters, fall into the abyss that is the Velathian Ocean...
